Mission Statement
Since its humble beginnings in a local school gymnasium, the Aereo Gymnastics Club has been faithfully servicing the communities of Niagara since 1977, providing instruction for both girls and boys. A non-profit organization, Aereo Gymnastics relies on the volunteer help of parents to operate all aspects of the club, except coaching.
AIMS OF THE AEREO GYMNASTICS CLUB
* To promote quality recreational programs for the children of the community that provide fun, fitness and skill development
* To provide quality competitive gymnastics for girls in Artistic Gymnastics at the Invitational and Provincial Levels
* To provide a safe, healthy, positive atmosphere in which gymnasts can train
* To ensure that gymnastics is an avenue for the physical, emotional, and social growth of all children
* To keep training costs for members to a minimum through parental involvement in fundraising, facility maintenance, etc…
* To keep all members well informed of club business through newsletters and meetings
* To support the gymnastic activities of Gymnastics Ontario
Facilities
Over the years the club has acquired a great deal of quality equipment through fundraising, including:
· a 42' x 42' air spring floor
· 4 sets of uneven bars
· 8 beams
· 1 table top vault
· a full inground pit with tumbling strip and pit bar
· a second tumbling floor
Staffing
The Coach's Role
The coach's role is to ensure a safe learning environment. While working with our classes, Aereo coaches will continually challenge children based on their individual potential.

- All Aereo coaches are certified by the National Coaching Certification Program
- All Gymnastics Ontario Clubs are governed by risk management policies, guidelines,
Codes of Conduct and Ethics
- Aereo coaches are certified in CPR and First Aid.
